Before this was my full-time business, I spent 12 years as an arborist for the City of Coquitlam. Street trees, parks, storm calls.
I've seen what a city actually wants in an arborist report, because I worked on that side of it.
So when someone hands you a form and tells you to go get an arborist report, I can tell you what it's really asking for.

Tree work is risky. Before anyone works on your property, it's worth asking whether they're covered. Here's my answer.
- Fully insured. $2 million liability insurance.
- WCB covered. WorkSafeBC coverage.
- Licensed in the Tri-Cities. An intermunicipal business licence for Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra.
- Free estimates. $175 minimum charge on booked work.
